Dr Mary Bourke

Dr Mary Bourke is a chiropractor with over 30 years of clinical experience and a lifelong passion for functional health and development. In her role as CEO of Myo Munchee, Mary has continued her father Dr Kevin Bourke’s pioneering work. Mary took the helm of Myo Munchee in 2016 with a clear vision; to bring his legacy of oral function and chewing back into the spotlight for a modern world.

Under her leadership, Myo Munchee has grown from Kevin’s kitchen-table beginnings into a globally recognised and trusted brand used by dentists, dental hygienists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and manual therapists alike.

Mary’s work bridges clinical science and practical application, empowering practitioners and families to restore oral function as a foundation for lifelong health. She continues to lecture and collaborate internationally, spreading awareness of the simple yet profound benefits of chewing - changing the world… one chew at a time!

Based in Newcastle, NSW, Mary has 3 grown daughters and now lives with her husband Ian and the dog Alfie. You will often find her walking around the coastline and swimming at the beach and yes she still chews her Myo Munchee!
